Memsim, developed at the IBM Austin Research Lab, provides paramaterized models of state-of-the-art server memory-system components, right from the organization of the memory-controllers to the timing and power of individualSDRAM devices. Models are also provided for design options such as different interleaving schemes, open/closed-page policies, and dynamic power-management. This document is a userguide for the Memsim package giving an overview of its capabilities and options with examples.
