        Computing histogram from images in an important step in generating feature vectors for content-based indexing of large image or video databases. In this paper, several methods for estimating histograms from transformed images are proposed. The results indicate that significant computation complexity reduction can be achieved while maintaining reasonable estimation accuracy.
