E-Commerce Across International Borders: A Personal Experience

E-Commerce has gone beyond the stage of discussion and it is now being broadly implemented. Within the past year, a large number of companies in the US have become e-commerce enabled. Furthermore, a lot on networking infrastructure exists worldwide which makes possible the easy access of e-commerce services in the US from abroad. This paper presents an experiment in international telecommunicating via the Internet. It discusses the current state of e-commerce solutions and Internet communications, and points out areas where improvements can be made.
