Tunable resonant coupler (RC) based filter devices offer a wide application potential. We present a compact 1-from-8 flat passband and a 1-from-16 add-drop filter with up to 16 stages. The device characteristics correspond well to the design and show good isolation values. The on chip loss is about 1.5 dB, the devices are polarization
insensitive. The scalability of the RC approach is discussed.
