A Tutoring System on Web based Applications based on User's Activity

In connection with the rapid spread of the business applications on Web (following Web business AP), how to relieve various levels of skill among users of Web business AP becomes an issue. This paper proposes a tutoring prototype system, called WebAttendant, which features the ability to automatically carry out individual instructions based on the user's Web operation information. This functionality could lower development costs for Web APs. Moreover, this prototype system experimentally was used as a tutoring service on an internal site. The advantages and problems of the system are examined.
