Modeling Methods for the Design of 3D Broadcloth Composite Parts

In this paper, we propose a Tchebychev net as a model for broadcloth composite.
Then, we describe a numerical method of broadcloth fitting problem to a given NURBS surface,
by simplifying the problem to a surface-surface intersection problem.
Then we describe the method of predicting the goodness of a fit by means of the knowledge
of differential geometry. Finally, we describe how to prevent anomalies (such as wrinkles),
possibly occurring in fitting broadcloth composite parts in real world.
