Modeling IoT-aware Business Processes: A State of the Art Report

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an emerging technology. Many organizations see opportunities to use IoT and develop their business. IoT smart devices will change both business operations and the everyday life
of people. Research mainly has been focusing on technical implementation of IoT and not on the integration of the technology into business processes. As there is a clear demand of businesses to have a seamless integration of IoT technology, research has been conducted recently on this topic. This report describes the current state of research in the field of IoT-aware business process modelling.
